"It's a nice apartment, cheaply but competently renovated. There were cobwebs around when we arrived but otherwise it was clean. The beds are VERY nice, extremely comfortable which is so important. My biggest gripe, something not demonstrated in the listing, is the fact that the property directly borders an actve train teack, and when i say it's right outside I mean it is RIGHT outside. I was kept up the entire night one of the nights of our stay because of a pair of trains stopping and starting...

"The cabin was very cozy and so peaceful. We definitely enjoyed the fireplaces and the jacuzzi while watching Netflix. Not to mention, the distance for good hiking from our cabin was only 5-7 minutes to Matthiessen State Park and also Starved Rock. Nicole was an awesome host and I'm so happy I booked with her for a nice birthday getaway for my boyfriend. We definitely will be returning!! (:"
