"Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest...

"Booked this house for 10 family members that were traveling up for a family reunion from over 4 hours away. As it got closer I did not receive any check-in notifications/messages from the host. I sent messages starting 2 days before check-in. The host never responded. I called VRBO on the day of check-in and they were wonderful with assisting me. The host was unresponsive to them. "I enjoyed the glassed in porch and view of the lake from it, the kitchen and bedroom. It was a great spot directly across from the lake so got to watch loon and geese every day. The place was comfortable and cozy. "
