"Given the street view of the building, I was amazed how large the apartment was - it's HUGE! And just where I wanted to stay - within a few minutes walking distance from old town, the waterfront, Eureka Food Coop, lots. A nice and quiet neighborhood too!"

"Amy’s studio D unit is homier than it looks in the VRBO listing. It is perfect for a couple. Everywhere was clean, and all furnishings and appliances were in good repair. Cozy bed and thick towels. The unit had dishes, dishwashing supplies and laundry supplies. We had a pleasant two nights and would definitely stay again if we come back to Eureka. "

"Enjoyed a short stay with my husband and step-son while considering Cal Poly Humboldt as a prospective student. The property is exactly as pictured. Super clean and tidy, new kitchen with beautiful appliances. The bathroom inspired me to redo my own! Comfy beds with cozy comforters and pillows. Smart TV with sound bar to watch shows and wind down after a day hiking and exploring the neighborhood. The location can't be beat. Everything is walking distance. We only stayed 2 nights, but look...

"Cute vintage feel to the house with modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach with miles of beach walking. Fenced yard was a real plus for traveling with our dog. Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. "

"We loved our stay at Shore Acres! The property is beautiful and perfect for the kids and dog! The views of the coast were amazing and we took the short walk down to the river many times. The house is old, but very well maintained and updated. That being said, don’t expect everything to look or work perfectly. We appreciated all the linens and kitchen items, and the fun extras like the telescope and pingpong table! We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. "

"I was so pleased with everything. I highly recommend this twilight studio experience. The place is so nicely decorated and the details are done so well for making your stay very comfortable. There’s a cute little yard attached with two bicycles. I used one of them to ride down to the marsh and had a great experience. The host is extremely accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this place."
