"This cabin is 100% just as the other reviews said!! So clean, so well stocked, the dog run was better than expected. Even the pots and pans were luxurious!! "This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. "

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"

"It was the perfect dog friendly place for us ! We will definitely be back to stay here on our return trips to Cumberland to visit family. Donna was a wonderful host. Check in was a breeze.The Cozy Cottage was comfortable, extremely clean ,located near the interstate yet feeling very countryside which we prefer. "Very remote location- having a 4WD was helpful. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary. My adult daughter enjoyed our one night stay."

"The cabin was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was modern, making meal prep a breeze. The outside decking and surrounding property was very private. We enjoyed evenings by outdoor firepit that included an ample supply of dry, seasoned wood.Our days were spent riding our ebikes on the C&O and GAP trails. Both are very close by. "Perfect spot for our family to enjoy Frostburg State University Homecoming weekend. We were able to all relax and have enough space and it allowed our daughter to stay with us and we could have some of her friends over for a meal. The private backyard allowed us to bring a yard game and play that on a beautiful fall evening. Excellent weekend to watch our daughter play rugby on Sunday. Check in and checkout were easy as well."
