"The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around. It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley. "

"The house was beautifully presented with furniture and fixtures in tune with the historic nature of the building.The house was warm and comfortable, spacious though well proportioned and very easy to make ourselves at home in. The back yard was securely fenced for the pet and an easy waliking distance to town facilities and the beach and including a fine view of the Nut."

"This property was in a great location. We hardly used the car during our stay and enjoyed walking everywhere. It was so well decked out and had everything we could possibly need. So many lovely pictures and personal touches. I would definitely love to stay here again!"

"We wanted to visit the Tarkine and this proved the perfect base. Spacious and cosy with easy to operate wood fire, good kitchen with full size fridge.Lots of thoughtful touches made this a very pleasant stay."

"Generally, very good. To improve, it will be good to provide instruction on how to deal with rubbish bins. Also, there is problem to communicate with host as this is a non-wotif property and host message to me through the managing agent (website) is lost. I have to contact the host direct to found out they actually gave me messages. "

"Ours is a return visit to Mount View. We wanted to come back for a longer stay. The house and its location are superb. We enjoyed the peacefulness and remoteness of the landscape and the home is 11 out of 10. It is full of generosity, quality and thoughtfulness from the design to all the appliances and provisions that make your stay easy and enjoyable. "Fabulous view of the river and beach from this very comfortable villa. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. The washing machine in the bathroom was a bonus. It was lovely watching the sunset into the ocean through the windows and from the balcony. "
