Restaurants are definitely more expensive and there are of all qualities, but everyone finds what they are looking for without a doubt. The hotel staff is very attentive and provides excellent advice on how to make the most of your stay."

"Most wonderful place tot stay in, a real Palacio in the heart of Porto. Decorated with such An eye for detail, it almost could be a museum. But it is also the gracious reception and personal touched by the host that made our stay memorabele. A chocolate on the bedside table, slippers next to the bed when you come in for the night... Lovely breakfast, made to order. And all this for An incredible price. Only tip: park your car and take taxi to the address - it is in a restricted area. We said...

"It was an excellent location for us in terms of seeing and doing what we wished to do. The staff was very accommodating and even provided a boxed breakfast for us on a morning that we joined an early tour group. Breakfast was delicious at the hotel.If you like a small hotel with great views of the river and a welcoming staff then this is the place ! A word of advice...pack lightly unless you accept a transfer because some Ubers and taxi's cannot pull up to the door."

"Lovely stay during the Sao Joa festival, we watched the fireworks from the bedroom! The breakfast was delightful & staff helped me with storing my bike box and also with organising taxis as a lot of taxis do not go straight to this area. Im sorry I couldnt remember the name of the person who helped us but I want to thank you! "

"This is an excellent choice and a fantastic place to stay. Conveniently located—just a 5-minute walk to main roads—yet peacefully tucked away from the city noise. The building is outstanding, with impressive interiors and a superb hotel experience overall. The staff are truly amazing and wonderfully attentive. Breakfast is excellent, though it could be further improved by offering more healthy options, especially a wider selection of fresh fruits."

"The property makes creative use of its small space in the historic area. We enjoyed our balcony view of the city from our studio. Fresh and new inside with a Roman wall in the back. Staff is wonderful and genuinely helpful. Breakfast is good too. But do not plan to drive or park there. The road is very narrow. We left our car at a nearby parking garage. Wonderful location in the walkable historic district near the river."

"This is a really beautiful apartment in an excellent location (if you want to be near the river). It's on a cute, relatively quiet pedestrian-only street. I may have missed it in the instructions but, there's no sign in front of the building and it is very nondescript - you need to call by phone to have someone let you in. "

"Our stay at this property was lovely, staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic and make sure to take some time to have dinner or cocktails at the restaurant. The rooms was very comfortable and the pool/ spa is lovely. We would highly recommend this property for its amenities and the excellent service!"
