Luxurious house in an excellent location just a few seconds from the beach in Morro Jable, Fuerteventura. It features a huge terrace with fantastic sea views, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed with an en-suite bathroom and the other one with two single beds plus an en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with sea views and direct access to the amazing terrace, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Located in the south of Fuerteventura, Playa de Morro Jable, also known as Playa Jandía, is the largest beach in Morro Jable. The lighthouse marks the approximate centre of the beach, which is split into the northern half known as El Saladar, and the southern half of Playa del Matorral. The bright sandy beach area stretches for approximately three kilometres. The water is clear and very clean. In both areas, there are windsurfing and sailing schools offering courses and equipment for hire. Near the lighthouse is a well-known surfing location, where the wave is known as “Cruz Roja” occurs in certain wind conditions, making for a very special surfing experience. Small beach bars can be found all along Playa de Morro Jable so that there is within easy reach always the possibility of refuelling with refreshments. Near the lighthouse is also a fairly large nudist swimming area. Near Playa de Morro Jable is a protected lagoon area and behind that the main road of Morro Jable, thankfully far enough away for the traffic noise not to be heard. Parallel to the road a promenade leads to the old centre of the town. From the promenade, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the whole beach area, as well as having access to the beach via several pathways

Völlig überzogener Preis, erschreckende, abstoßende Lage

Die Fotos täuschen eine super Wohnung in toller Lage vor. Wir fühlen uns total ‚über den Tisch gezogen‘. Das einzige was die Wohnung bietet ist Platz, den man nicht braucht. Es gibt nicht ein einziges Bild oder Dekoartikel. Völlig kahl und ungemütlich. Eine Tür klemmt kurz nach dem Öffnen auf dem Fußboden. Einen Fenster schließt nicht und es ist sehr laut. Am Wochenende bis 02.30 Diskolärm. Die Unikastange in der Dusche ist defekt und notdürftig geflickt. Wir haben dort Yoga gemacht und dabei gesehen, dass unter der Couch total viel Dreck liegt. Der Sessel ist total dreckig und ist hier, statt auf dem Sperrmüll gelandet. Die Tischplatte war ecklig klebrig! Was auch durch intensive Reinigungsversuche nicht beseitigt werden konnte. Das Geschirr reicht nicht für 4 Personen. Der Eingang liegt in zweiter Reihe und die Umgebung ist eigentlich für Urlaubende nicht zumutbar. Der Behindertenaufzug ist defekt und verdreckt. Die gesamten Läden links und rechts wurden nie vermietet, sind verwahrlost und abstoßend. Unter dem Laubengang lag eine Woche eine tote Taube, die niemand entfernt hat. Wenn man nicht gerade zur Straße geht, läuft man an einer Moschee und einem heruntergekommenen Müllplatz vorbei. Es gibt keinen Ansprechpartner. Eine Reinigung wird nicht durchgeführt und auch nicht angeboten. Der Preis ist völlig überzogen. Hier hätte man maximal die Hälfte bezahlen sollen. Eigentlich schade, dass man die Hälfte der Zahlung nicht zurückfordern kann.

Great residential beach holiday flat

Large flat in a residential block just behind a complex of shops. Flat was spacious, fairly basic but had most necessities (there is no oven, limited utensils but plenty for making the basics and for 4 people). Large roof terrace with a view to the sea which was great. 10 min walk to the beach, and the beach is excellent and huge. The local shops are also great - supermarkets, restaurants and nice shopping areas amongst some holiday tat which was good to nose around in. The bets restaurant in the area (in our opinion) is downstairs Lo Nuestro. 20-30 min walk into central Morro Jable, although there was enough to do in the flat's locality. The whole area was friendly, felt safe, busy yet not overcrowded. We normally stay in quieter places so a little noisy if you're not used to it, but you are in amongst the action (more family action rather than clubbing!) Dialogue was excellent with Jorge who sorted out the small issue we had with sink and a knife immediately. Price was a little on the expensive side but I would recommend.
