"Travelled with my wife for the first time to Japan; for the price, we were impressed. Room felt a little crammed at times but was manageable. Staff was extremely friendly and ensured we were comfortable. Room had air conditioning and the bed/pillows were more comfortable than my own. Close to Kyoto ..."

"Accommodation with half board option is a must without consideration. It takes our the needs to worry about where to eat for breakfast and dinner, then you can skip lunch for more time with site visits. The public bath is nice and clean. Staff are friendly."

"Good size room, staff were great and helpful, added bonus of a courtesy bus to Kyoto station. Great location. Bathrooms were old and dated, pillows not great had to buy a pillow from the shop"
