"First of all, I want to say we were so impressed with this home. It was furnished great.You couldn't ask for anything because everything you needed was already there. "Perfect, we've stayed at the Mermaid House before and are already planning a trip or two for next year. Chris, the host is quick and easy to communicate with. House is well appointed, pretty much everything you need for a stay. The pool is my favorite, listening to nature, floating with a cocktail, you can't beat it. The tiki bar is also amazing! Plenty of room, house is kept spotless and has beautiful finishes inside. "

"Great property right on the water. We used the kayaks to go out on the River and cleaned our scallops on the dock. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Only downside of the whole stay was there was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided. Charcoal was provided, though, which was nice for grilling steaks one night. Would def stay here again! "

"We came for a long weekend of scalloping and boating. The location of this home couldn’t have been better being the second house from the fast zone out the channel. The views are stunning, the homes is stocked with yummy coffee and everything you could need plus more. Commercial ice machine was the biggest hit for our long days on the boat. We will definitely be coming back."
