"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Highly recommended! We spent 4 nights relaxing and exploring the Sequim area. Great place in a great location right on the lagoon and close to town. The cabin has everything -- a great kitchen with everything needed for meals, great deck for relaxing while watching the bird life, great sunroom for when the temperatures drop, great bedrooms, and great privacy. Oh, and a great, friendly owner. The very high guest ratings are well deserved."

The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. "What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "
