"Just as-advertised. A somewhat-quirky (though quaint and cozy) space above the flower shop on a local flower farm. My kids loved seeing/meeting the animals, which was a nice perk. Kitchen could have used a few more basics (toaster or baking tray? coffee machine?), but felt "on theme" given the farmhouse feel. Stacy was delightful, and very responsive. "Like: Very private, close to nature, extra blankets available, very clean kitchen and bathroom, towels and cafe k-cups available Didn't like: Mattress, odor in the bathroom, yellow pillow under pillowcase"

"Very clean. Limited supplies. No dish soap. One hand towel and one dish cloth. One roll of tp and two towels. Check in very easy. Nice clean with good location."

"Exactly what you think of a cabin in the Maine woods. Close to Bucksport. No wifi. Only got one channel on the rabbit ears for the TV, but many movies available to use on the dvd player. Dark outside at night. Quick response from property manager. Would stay there again. "

"This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!"

"The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning."

"We enjoyed the cabin! The kitchen had everything we needed. It was fun exploring the area, and thanks to the hosts for the tip on where to go with our paddle boards! "

"It was a charming cottage in dreamy surroundings! We loved our week in the very comfy cabin with great kitchen, dock with kayaks, beautiful grounds and flowers, and trail into town to see the shipyard, sailboats, and quaint Main Street. It was also great fun to have our dog with us and throw the frisbee on the expansive lawn."

"We had a short three day stay in Surry and fell in love with the house. It is a bit of the drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but we didn’t mind it one bit. The convenience of the location and having a small store across the street really made for a stress free stay. Great back deck made for unforgettable conversations and few beverages to help take in all of the beautiful views full of eagles, osprey, ducks, geese and numerous other wildlife. "Our family really enjoyed their stay at this home while in town for a wedding, and it felt great to have space for everyone! The cousins shared the double bed rooms and parents got the main rooms. Two bathrooms, one being on-suite, was a bit of a challenge when it came time to get ready for bed, get ready in the morning and get ready for a wedding (also, one low quality hair dryer for the entire home and nearly empty soap bottles when we arrived) but having a well stocked kitchen and dining...
