"Everything about the bear den was perfect! Comfortable, cozy and clean. It has been my favorite place to ever stay! We saw an eagle in the tree right off the front porch! The scenery was amazing and it was so nice to do a fishing charter and go back to a house to make the food you just caught. We enjoyed every single day in Ketchikan and it was so nice to have a wonderful place to relax in the afternoons on the porch and sleep well so the next day you can get up and explore again! "This property was excellent. I would stay here again. Super clean, gorgeous views, walkable neighborhood to sites of interest! We happened to be in Ketchikan during the hottest week of the season so we had to have the windows open in the late afternoon, evening and overnight due to the sun baking in the beautiful windows. "The view is amazing! Saw a whale, seals, squirrels, and eagles off the deck, and two bears in the neighbor's driveway! LOVED IT! The decor is beautiful. The layout works. Two living rooms is nice for a big group. Outdoor seating is a must, used it every day. There was a broken toilet when we arrived, but they did their best to fix it as soon as possible and communication was great. I wish it had a keurig, but we survived, ha ha. "Amber and Mike are wonderful host! Very responsive to messages. The home is clean and in an amazing location. Humpback whales traveled past the house as well. It was an amazing stay; we did not want to leave. Advice: Avocados are 2.50 so if you eat as many as we do I suggest you buy some (not ripe) to bring with you. If you need ice go to Fish From Trish (she has great seafood for sale). Visit as many of the local lakes as you can. They are all beautiful and worth the hike. "

"Great location."

"This basement apartment was the perfect cozy spot for my husband and I. We woke up and could see the cruise ship from the kitchen window. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. We didn’t use the kitchen during our short stay but it looked well stocked and the coffee was great in the morning. The pictures sent of the entrance were helpful in locating this basement spot. We would stay again."
