"First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!"

"Looks exactly how it does in the pictures. So cozy and perfect for a little get away. Far away from everything but also close enough to a town if anything is needed! Definitely will be back!"

"An incredible property in the heart of downtown lake placid. There is a little noise from the restaurants near by but very manageable. The “private” dock is a wonderful plus and we couldn’t have been happier with the location. "

"We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The leaves were newly turning and it is close to many places for a walk in the woods. We hiked to the loom lake fire tower, kayaked, made marshmallows and enjoyed the outdoors. Also found a large amount of chicken of the woods mushrooms in the woods behind the cabin! "

"Cabin was very well done, clean- bed was super comfortable! The view of the mountains was fantastic- great for star watching too!"

"Perfect family getaway in the mountains. Great location-very close to downtown/activities/restaurants, but in a quiet residential area. Hot tub was amazing! Beautiful house, clean, fenced yard was perfect for our dog and we always appreciate dog friendly rentals my only critique was that I didn't receive any check-in info or instructions until the actual check-in time (4pm) and we had arrived after a long drive at 3:45. But otherwise perfect stay, 10/10 would love to stay here again. Thank...
