"This was a perfect location to enjoy Lake Placid Village. We had a warm weekend, 2nd bedroom didn’t have air, so double barn door needed to stay open when sleeping, that was a bit inconvenient for people in that room. "

"The room was clean and well kept. All the equipment were functional and also very clean. The area was beautiful and quiet. However, the checking in location was far away from the main residence which was a problem for me who didn't have their own car. The WiFi network inside the rooms were terrible. But overall, it was a good stay. "

"Fishing was great, sm mouth bass here with beautiful flat rocks that made it easy to get around. The surroundings were awsome with views of remnants of an old paper mill right across the river. You can watch tubers come down sacandaga river where it meets hudson river. When tide is low safe to swim definitely able to dip in pockest to get wet. Too cold still. "This cabin was the perfect for me and my pet to rest in between hiking! It was private, clean, rustic and quaint. I honestly wanted to live there forever! Also, loved visiting the spa! Cannot wait to come back"

Chris is the best kind of host; all needs are addressed promptly and efficiently, he is not intrusive in the least but always available, and has thought of everything at the cabin to make it an easy, effortless stay. "To say this stay was perfect would seem exaggerated to some but to me it seems it doesn’t to it justice! Choosing the cabin as a first time “off-grid” goer was a bit intimidating but with WiFi a few walks away and the views made me forget about that. The hot shower and the bathroom steps away was exceptional to offer on this type of getaway. To be in this privacy of a property with this type of view is something you don’t just get to experience so easily, I know this because I have been to many...

"Great place to stay! Property was clean and quiet. Check in/ out was easy. Parking is located right by the entrance to the apartment making it easy to load and unload luggage. Property is located just north of downtown Lake Placid. "

"I liked it very much, the house was very nice and nicely decorated. Everything was there even washer and dryer. The view was so excellent and if it was warmer weather would have enjoyed sitting on deck overlooking the water. Location great, near markets, etc. I would rent again. Jan"
