I had never stayed in the Bronx before and I was surprised by the fantastic experience staying at this hotel and walking in such a colorful neighborhood, with the neighborhood folks sharing a great example of joy and aliveness. "Room was clean. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Restaurant, bar, and nightlife -Excellent! That's what would bring us back. Rooms a bit tight on space, some small issues with faucets, tv, and shower door, but nothing that couldn't be resolved. Also the location is excellent - right next to The Apollo, great locales nearby, and very short walks to many subway lines. "

"The room was clean but the balcony was disgusting, seeing dirty diapers along with many cigarettes out the window is crazy. For the price I was excepting it to much cleaner."

"AWFUL. Pics out of date. Property NOT as described. Dirty and disheveled. Did not receive room I paid extra for. No water in. “Hot tub”. Hosts entered my locked room when I was gone and moved my belongings to a room without a lock. Then accused me of stealing their key when I left it in the lockbox I originally took it from upon arrival. "
