"Everything about our stay was perfect — from the warm welcome and kindness of the staff to the beautiful room decor and excellent amenities. "This hotel is just outside of cat ba town. to go out for dinner in the evening involves a bit of a walk up a hill into town. It is down in the harbor where you catch the boats to go to Halong Bay. It is immaculate. the breakfast is served to you. It is not an all you can eat breakfast but it is certainly sufficient. But if. you want an extra coffee, they want to charge you for it. "Amazing host. Can't give my compliments enough to Dat. He cared for each of us like we were a member of his family and I can say to any traveller you will always be in safe hands. He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. I literally can't think of a single issue with Seoul 2."

"First of all the staff and breakfast were amazing. The hiking trip organised by the hotel was awesome. The location is really good. The downsides there were lots of bugs in my room. I killed them all and i thought that was the end of it then on the last day upon checking out there was a huge cockroach on the floor, i presume their mother. The water pressure for the hot water didnt seem to exist at times and you had to run it for a while to make it work. "

"Plancher constamment mouiller du au taux d’humidité extrêmement élever. De plus il y avait des rénovations dans la chambre juste à côté de la nôtre à 8h du matin ce qui est très dérangeant. "

"Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water. The staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. Shame about the monster resort getting built in front, looking at cranes and building work. "

"We were upgraded to the amazing owner’s suite, the staff paid attention to every single detail during our stay and we had so much fun during the several activities planned! Food was great too. Special shut out to Jim, Tom and Telly!"

"The Ireland Hotel is a nice family run hotel. Corner Rooms are bright (there is also internal rooms without windows) and the hotel is generally clean. A few small issues with bulbs not working and TV not working but that is very minor. It’s close to the main “drag” but noise was not an issue. Cat Ba is unfortunately undergoing a lot of construction and modernisation so it’s best to rent a scooter and venture out of town. "
