"We had to find a different hotel as the room was dirty. Avoid!"

"Cat ba Serena homestay was an amazing experience. Our family of five felt so comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Linda was very responsive and instrumental in organizing a full day boat tour which did not disappoint ( we even saw the endangered langur monkeys sleeping on the cliff). Our second day we rented motorbikes from The homestay and explored the island including caves within the national park. Our kids especially enjoyed the food at the homestay- amazing...

"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. "The location it’s far away from downtown, and the transportation it’s limit and expensive.. if you travel with family it’s not convenient because of the transportation and lack of restaurants around … the staff and the owner it’s super nice .. but they don’t clean and I rooms are not clean enough… "

"Un hôtel calme dans une rue située à l écart. Personnel très aimable."

"Very great for solo travelers who want a quiet night"

"Host was amazing. All the food was great. Swimming in the bay was phenomenal "

"The hotel staff were very helpful. They upgraded our room for free. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a typhoon, but the staff were very caring and helpful, making sure we had transportation arranged to get off of the island. Convenient location close to many restaurants."
