"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...

The only annoying issue was receiving several automated emails that we hadn't paid or hadn't filled out a check in form or something, in a tone that implied or said directly that our booking would be cancelled. We had already done these things, but it causes unnecessary stress and checking that payments have gone through and that we've filled out the correct form. "

Such an awesome place, amazing location (spa view is incredible) and so beautifully presented when you arrive. It’s like you’re the first person to stay. "To say the Pole House is iconic is obvious. We kept pinching ourselves that we were actually it’s guests. Every time we walked across the bridge felt like we were stepping into a very privileged space. For lovers of seascapes gazing out its windows is unparalleled. We slept with the blinds up and woke to the waves rolling up the beach. The facilities were all very comfortable and functional "
