"Beware, water pressure was very poor and temperature was lukewarm. It made a difference for 3 adults trying to shower at 5.30am. There is no insulation and the railway is nearby. It felt like we were sleeping in a tent next to the train tracks, so not good for light sleepers. Comi g fro. Someone who lives next to an airport. Location was great if you're attending events at Turangawaewae marae or Hopuhopu but it's not worth 310 a night that I paid. Won't be doing that again, particularly with the...

"A gorgeous, newly renovated two story small house within a 10-15 minute walking distance of Thames shops. I loved the sunny bedrooms upstairs which feel like you’re in the treetops.There is a proper kitchen and a washing machine, a small deck and easy parking. The host, Chris, is very helpful but not intrusive, and has a real eye for beauty in the house design and decoration, so it’s beautiful. One caution is the steep staircase, which would be difficult for anyone with balance issues. "

"Exactly what it says in the listing. Not polished or flash but cosy and full of character in a lovely setting, close to walks in the gorge, op shops in Paeroa and the Te Aroha thermal pools. Felt very welcome and nothing like an outdoor bath under the stars!"

"We arrived in Hamilton after a long flight from South Africa to an ecoli warning in the area. Eliot & Suf left us a lovely note informing us with bottled water to assist us. The home was very comfy and tidy just perfect for our jet lagged family. Lovely little touches around the home making it warm and inviting. The location was great, close to shops and amenities. We wanted to stay longer! "
