"If you want a place that offers solitude, heavenly peace and great relaxation in harmony with nature, don't look any further. This is the ultimate place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature at its best. There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts."

Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. "Exactly what we needed, and really wish we'd had a whole week. It was peaceful, comfortable, with everything you'd need. We didn't realise there was even coffee to try the espresso machine! Next time... Brought my parents here as we'd stayed at the old Barrington Guest House when I was a kid. Still a beautiful area. "Treetops was the perfect retreat for our family of four. Set high amongst the trees, the birdlife brought a sense of endless entertainment and peaceful tranquility. The cabin is cosy and tastefully furnished with functional kitchen and great outdoor area with bbq. More than suited our needs. Host is fantastic with clear directions and suggested activities. "Was ideal for our family getaway. The house had everything we could have hoped for. A/c was lovely on the hot days, the fire pit was fabulous at night to sit around and toast marshmallows and chat. The beds and linen were clean and comfy. The outdoor lounge was lovely for nibbles and wine of an afternoon. It was perfect. Thank you!"

"Unfortunately for us we stayed whilst a severe weather event impacted the entire mid north coast of NSW so our hiking and mountain biking plans weren’t able to be met. The property is as presented and very comfortable. Our hosts were also very communicative and generous in allowing us to stay longer, should we have needed to, due to the significant flooding in the area. Very much appreciated. "

"Alan and Eva were so lovely and kind during the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful! My friend and I had an amazing time staying here, watching the sunsets and sitting by the campfire. Lovely place to unwind and have a weekend off in nature. We got to see the cows and the lovely views around the farm. The cosy off-grid cabin felt like a home away from home. A very memorable experience. Thank you again Alan and Eva, we’ll definitely be back! "

"Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!"
