"It was pouring with rain when we arrived, so we really appreciated having the carport and entry cover, so we didn’t get soaked hauling our luggage in. Great for a 1nt stay on our way from Wellington to the Coromandel. Because of the weather the Coromandel didn’t happen, but that’s a whole other story! "

"The Grove Turangi accommodation was lovely, easy to reach and very clean. There was parking right in front of the place. Check-in was super easy and straightforward with clear instructions. The hosts were very friendly. As an extra bonus, there was a sauna, which we really enjoyed. All in all, it was a very nice stay and we definitely recommend it! "

"Nice place to stay for the night, -- mind your head when you are upstairs. A shame that it's not facing west to take advantage of the evening sun. Even so, very warm -- the fan was definitely needed."

"We’ve had the best time at Alpine Chalets. Amazing hospitality from the staff, the rooms are clean, tidy and very modern. The views were spectacular of the mountains! Highly recommend, will definitely be back :)"

"It is very cosy and suitable for two adults or a small family (but not toddlers). Terrific shower. Wood Burner is very useful and lovely to have. Host has very kindly left wood, kindling and Firestarters. Microwave oven turntable doesn't turn (its the type that is mean to). Upstairs mezzanine was popular with our 10 and 12 year old boys, but would benefit from a deeper clean. Cleanliness of the rest of the place was very satisfactory. We will stay again."
