"Good place to stay"

"This is and old military billeting facility and having stayed in many of those, I can say it has not changed much. It has all of the basics. The beds were excellent, the plumbing was excellent (plenty of hot water). All of the pieces of the coffee maker fell apart but it was still functional. The tv had a remote but you had to turn the tv on manually. Other than that it was great."

"I checked out this hotel a few years ago and kept it in mind. Beautiful and historical. The staff is so nice and the restaurant is top notch. Close to Frenchman St. and the French Quarter while feeling and sounding (quiet) worlds away. "

"Very cool place. Centrally located "

"It is on a quiet edge of the french Quarter. Unusually for the area, it has private parking in a locked garage about 5 minutes walk away. I think we were upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. The room was fine, not terribly big, but the balcony was an absolute delight! Covered; on 2nd floor (3rd in USA); great view down street; sun morning and evening. All staff on desk very friendly."

"This property was truly so beautiful and picturesque. Our flight was super delayed and we didn’t arrive until late/early morning and the concierge was still ready for us! The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and our room was perfect. Its located in the French Quarter so you could walk to mostly everywhere you want to, but its not loud or noisy if that’s what you’re looking for. We truly had the best time and this hotel and can’t wait until we come back. "

"Such a great stay! Some of the staff were excellent to work with and have conversations with. The room was large and quaint. The pool was secluded and fairly quiet. Convenient location for walking to eat and explore. The only issue we had was the shower only out out hot water and we couldn’t take a shower because it was too hot. They told us the plumber could not come on the weekend. We had the option to switch to a queen room or keep or king room. Apart from that issue this was a great place...
