"Very quiet area and certainly good for unwinding. The walk from the parking area to the house was a challenge for an older person with no pathway, and clumpy grass patches on heavily pitted soil were difficult to negotiate in the dark. The kitchen was well equipped and the host kindly provided breakfast supplies. It was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time and a large king size. The bathroom is tiny and lacks enough vanity space to hold toilet bag and clean clothes, or hooks...

"If you want a place that offers solitude, heavenly peace and great relaxation in harmony with nature, don't look any further. This is the ultimate place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature at its best. There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts."

"I would have stayed a week if I could have! More time to enjoy more cups of tea on the deck with the sound of birdsong and the gently flowing river below. This place is idyllic. Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. "The most spectacular 360 degree of the Manning Valley. The tiny house had floor to ceiling windows to lay in bed and watch the stars and sunrise. Lots of local small towns to explore. "Accurately advertised which was greatly appreciated. The tiny home itself was extremely clean and well laid out, and had some beautiful, thoughtful inclusions inside. What looked like a dam in the photos turned out to be a pool in a water course and was the perfect spot to be. "Alan and Eva were so lovely and kind during the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful! My friend and I had an amazing time staying here, watching the sunsets and sitting by the campfire. Lovely place to unwind and have a weekend off in nature. We got to see the cows and the lovely views around the farm. The cosy off-grid cabin felt like a home away from home. A very memorable experience. Thank you again Alan and Eva, we’ll definitely be back! "

"Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!"
