"We found this property to be perfect for our group of four adults and a four year old. It would have easily accommodated more. It was quiet when we needed quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. The hostess was absolutely lovely and everything met or exceeded our expectations!I would highly recommend this property if you have any cause to be in the area!"

"We had an amazing stay! Photos were accurate. Place was clean, beautiful and tranquil! Just what we were looking for. The view was spectacular with the fall colors. "Loved the house, the area and the lake. House is as described, lake is lovely, tons of things to do just at the house and almost hard to leave and explore the area! Our families threw a dart at the map this year for our vacation and we ended up with one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. Indian and Mountain View Lakes are hidden gems in the Adirondacks and the house is full of history and tradition. Thanks to the owners for sharing this house! "

"The cottage was perfect! If it is not new, it is not far from it. Beth put a lot of touches in it making that cottage one of the nicest I have rented. Perfect spot to go hiking the Adirondacks mountains. Will definetely recommend and rent again."

"We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience. "The house is charmingly decorated in cabin style and appears to have been recently updated. Many of the appliances seemed new and they all worked well. Furnishings were comfortable, and the laundry and kitchen were all well supplied with the items we needed. Being able to use the kayaks to explore the Narrows was really special! The hosts were helpful and responded to our few questions promptly. This is a beautiful area, and a really comfortable base to explore it from. "
