Villa Editta is a charming three-story villa situated in the heart of the Chianti region, a few kilometers away from Florence. It sleeps 16 people. From Villa Editta you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the greenery and of the hills. Villa Editta is 600 square meters (6460 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 8.3 km (5.2 miles) from San Casciano in Val di Pesa, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant and a grocery store at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles). You will reach Villa Editta from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Editta you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. Please note that access to Villa Editta is along a 150-meter (490-foot) unpaved road.

The eighteenth-century villa is located within a 14 hectares (23 acres) park planted with vineyards and olive groves. You will be in the heart of the Chianti region, just a few kilometers away from Florence.


Villa Editta features a large swimming pool, a tennis court, a bowling green and a small amphitheatre where weddings could be celebrate (upon request and for a fee).


As guest of Villa Editta you will be able to take part (upon request and for a fee) in many activities, such as, bicycle tours, walking tours, gym with personal training, fitness and stretch classes, yoga, pilates or thai chi classes, cooking school, catering and wine tasting.


Upon request and for a fee, you will also have the opportunity to hire a personal chef, require daily housekeeping, organize airport tranfers.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with chairs, deck chairs and sun loungers, and it is partly shaded by tall trees. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery. The pool is open from the beginning of March until the end of November.
Patio
The patio is 300 square meters (3230 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof and by tall trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy an incredible view of the greenery and of the hills.
Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet). It is partly shaded by century-old trees. The garden is equipped with wrought-iron benches, as well as with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the garden you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery and of the hills.
Ground FloorLiving Room 1
The first living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include a sofa, armchairs and a desk. There is a nice fireplace. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has three windows.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the corridor. The furnishings include two sofas and armchairs. Here you will find a game table. The room has three windows.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the corridor. The two dining tables can accommodate 16 guests. There is an age-old fireplace. From the dining room you will be able to enter the patio and the garden through two French doors.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor through an access area. The floor is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. It is very well equipped, with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a steam oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The kitchen has three windows.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor through an access area. The bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm/71 inches).
