"Amy was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. She even left pancakes w/syrup for breakfast and pasta w/sauce in case we didn’t have time to go to the store! It’s the small things that really stick out such as leaving a bowl of snacks, a few beers in the fridge, a bottle of wine, fully stocked medicine cabinet in case you forgot something. She even put food and water out for the dog along with toys and a blanket! We loved being there and it was such a beautiful...

"The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary stay in this historic stone cabin. The host was attentive, the setting was lovely and comfortable, and the cabin brought the area’s history to life. We would gladly return. The only thing I would draw attention to is that this is not a handicap accessible property. "We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend it to others. The check in process was very easy with the detailed instructions that are provided. Communication was also superb and they were super quick to answer any questions. The property was a great size and super clean. Would definitely stay here again. Also super convenient for those are planning on going to a concert at 4th street live, it’s super close. Many restaurants that are walking distance. 100% recommend. "
