"This is a jewel box of an apartment, high ceilings, understated and lovely decor, just a few houses from the very cool lift bridge over the Erie Canal. Instructions were very clear for parking and entering the unit. It was a peaceful stay, and a pleasant drive through the countryside to SUNY Brockport. Communication was great with our host, Brooke."

"We had such a lovely stay. Maureen was such a pleasure to work with. We mostly took day trips to Niagara Falls, Fort Niagara, Letworth State Park and many local parks and waterfalls. Being right by the water was so relaxing and rejuvenating. It was exactly what we needed to get away from it all for a week. "

"Great place! Clean, very clean and cozy! Right on the lake! Probably the best fire pit and view we’ve ever had, and we’ve been around! Only downside would be that cottages are close to each other and in busy weeks you may have loud people next door. We could hear conversation from the cottage next door in the evening, not enough to bother us or to take off a star from such an excellent property, but just something to be aware of. Highly recommend Captains Galley. We had a great lunch there and...

"The cottage was so charming and the views spectacular! Everything we needed was readily available. Very accomodating. We have 2 small fur babies and were able to walk them around the property as well as along the neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming. It was quiet and peaceful and a woderful place to unwind. Good food within walking distance. Close to wonderful sites to see. The local produce was impressive and reasonable..highly recommend!!"

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience! I didn’t get a chance to write in the guest book they left on the table but this place truly exceeded our expectations! Great views/scenery, awesome location and overall very cozy. "Clean, comfortable and adorable. I wish I would have known the thermostat controlled the entire property. I like to sleep cold and set the temp very low and unfortunately made it uncomfortable for the other units.Other than that, this was a very nice place to stay and the restaurant next door is phenomenal."

"The house was absolutely beautiful inside and felt so comfortable, even without air conditioning. The setting is so peaceful—you can even hear the gentle waves from the lake on some nights, which was such a treat. We loved spending time in every space, especially relaxing on the large porch. The pool was wonderful and became our go-to for swimming since the lake had a bit of algae along the shore. Overall, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay—we didn’t want to leave!"
