"This was a virtual check in but staff made it easy . Apart from the four flights of stairs it was so lovely , a small quaint suite of 3 rooms and balcony in our room overlooked the whole bay , wonderful free breakfast as well . Easy to get to from the train but a bit confusing to find ."

"Cute little place right down the street from the beach in Monterosso, complete with all the wonderful restaurants, coffee bars, etc. Very close to train station. Nice balcony overlooking the neighborhood fruit trees. It was great to be able to walk a couple hundred yards to the beach, shopping and eateries."

"137 stairs to access so be ready to sweat carrying your luggage up. The walk from the train station isn’t bad until you get to the stairs to the building. But that’s is to be expected in Cinque Terre and you are rewarded by the view which was quintessential Cinque Terre. The balcony was lovely especially in the evening. During our stay it was hot so the fans were helpful but it was still quite warm. The rooms were very spacious and nicely appointed. The steps didn’t bother us coming and going...

"Matteo’s flat was absolutely perfect. He had everything we would possibly need - oil and vinegar for salads and cooking, coffee for the mornings, extra pillows and towels. The rooftop terrace was perfect. We could have sat there all day and night taking in the sea and the small town. All of his recommendations for food were perfect. Be sure to visit his family’s restaurant as well as the one right across the street. We got takeout from there our first night and dined Al fresco from the terrace...
