"This place is all about the view. Stunning. But you will have to walk up a billion stairs (or a long, steep ramp) to get there. True for most places in Manarola, but could be hard for those with mobility issues. It was a nice touch they provided a light breakfast for the first morning. The lack of a/c was rough, despite the sea air. It was very humid. Ceiling fans did help some. The water pressure in the shower was the best in Italy. "We loved this unit! You cannot beat the view and location. We skipped going to restaurants and cooked in a bunch of nights and ate on the terrace because there wasn’t a better view in Manarola. It was just the right size for two people. We would stay there again."

"I thought the pictures of this place was very miss leading!!! Very outdated. The directions were not helpful and we were asking around the buildings where this place was and no one knew. If you’re on a budget then it’s ok but I wouldn’t stay again… it needs lots of updates! "

"Our stay at Il Magàn was great! The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Staying in Corniglia was perfect for us, as it is the smallest and least busy of the five towns. It served as a great home base to explore between our time in the other towns. The breakfast was our favourite part of the stay. There was no additional cost (which we had in almost every other place we stayed), it offered great variety, and the portions were large! You can literally pick anything/as much as you’d like off...

"Nice hotel. VERY close to train station (50 yards). No elevator in hotel, internet spotty on 3rd floor. Breakfast typical continental however they will prepare an excellent omelet for you if you ask. Staff, especially Evelina, were super friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again. "
