Torre Guardiola

Upon our trip to Italy, my family and I were looking for hotels to stay together. When we went to book on the Expedia app, it showed there were rooms available for the entire family. I booked mine first and was able to get a room. My family was booking at the same time and it changed to no rooms available. I immediately contacted Expedia to cancel my room or see if there was another hotel to change to to accommodate all of us, they contacted the hotel and they would not refund us and there were no other rooms available for them. We ended up having to stay at a different hotel and I still had to pay for this hotel even though I did not stay there since I was not going to displace the rest of my family. They were not accommodating whatsoever even though I called within 30 seconds of booking, Expedia said they tried to contact the property and they declined to refund us. I feel like it was just a way to get money without wanting to put customer service first I would not recommend for that reason. this was a total inconvenience and they could’ve helped us and chose not to.

Quarto bem limpo e decorado. Equipe de atendimento muito simpática e prestativa. A localização do hotel é otima, de frente ao mar e não precisa de carro, tem acesso fácil e rápido à orla com vários restaurantes, gelateria, mercados e 17 minutos à pé da estação de trem. A praia é de pedras pequenas, difícil de andar, então traga uma sandália para andar na praia e entrar no mar. Voltaria com certeza! A very clean and nicely decorated room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel’s location is excellent – right on the coastline, so you don’t need a car. There’s quick and easy access to the town centre, with plenty of restaurants, gelaterias and shops, and it’s a 17-minute walk from the train station. The beach has small stones, which make it difficult to walk on, so bring a pair of sandals for walking on the beach and going into the sea. I’d definitely go back!
