"The hotel has an excellent location 3 mins walk distance from the train station and make it easy to visit Cinque Terre. The room is very small and difficult to turn around. There is one chair for a twin room. The most difficult part is the bath room is was so small and so packed, the toilet seat is very high, the seat was not in the meddle. toilet is not in the same level as the shower and basin, it should have a yellow or white strip to cause people's attention to avoid an accident."

"Villa Gelsomino is a special, special Inn that is among the best we’ve experienced over our many years of traveling in Europe. To begin, the staff is terrific - all the staff. They are well trained, focused on customer service and appear to genuinely enjoy their work. The Inn is unique, old in age, but updated to fit the period, yet charming with all the simple touches. "This was a great location in Riomaggiore. There was a unique way to get to it but someone met us at the train station and helped us get to our room. For seniors it has a lot of steep stairs and alleyway. Not sure I would stay again because of that. The staff were wonderful and the room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there. Restaurant close by was good also."
