La Casa del Gigante Luxury Sea View Villa

  • Resumen:

    Una extraordinaria villa de lujo en Monterosso al Mare, junto a la famosa estatua del Gigante. Le espera un paquete de bienvenida pensado para nuestras grandes villas: pasta trofie, pesto, una botella de vino local y aceitunas taggiasca. 140 m2 en dos niveles, hasta 4 personas.



    El espacio:

    Nivel inferior: un dormitorio excavado en la roca, climatizado, con una pequeña terraza y un sofá cama configurable como doble, individual o dos camas separadas, además de un baño privado accesible desde el salón. Nivel superior: amplio entresuelo con dormitorio doble king-size y baño privado con ducha panorámica vista al mar, salón espectacular con ventanales de suelo a techo y un sofá solo para sentarse (no es un sofá cama), cocina de diseño. Servicio Chef-at-Home bajo petición.

    Acceso exclusivo a la villa.

    Junto a la estatua del Gigante de Monterosso, vista al mar de día y de noche.

    El centro de Monterosso y la playa son fácilmente accesibles a pie.

    Dejamos algunos productos básicos en la cocina para su primera mañana (cruasanes, galletas, mermelada, te, café, leche en polvo, azúcar); cuando hay cocina disponible, también nuestro aceite de oliva virgen extra premiado, producido por un productor local cuyo molino y producción de miel se pueden visitar en una de nuestras experiencias, más sal y lavavajillas, y pastillas para lavadora/lavavajillas si están disponibles. Ropa de cama y de baño incluida, con gel de ducha, acondicionador, gel de cuerpo y jabón de manos. Limpieza profesional.

    Nuestra oficina de recepción en Vernazza esta abierta de 9:30 a 19:00 del 1 de marzo al 31 de octubre; fuera de este periodo la oficina permanece cerrada, con presencia bajo petición. Siempre nos alegra recibir también a huéspedes alojados en cualquier otro pueblo, para saludar o para consejos sobre experiencias y actividades locales.

    Solo check-in asistido - no hay check-in autónomo disponible. Horario estándar 15:00-19:00; check-in tardío de 19:00 a 22:00 con un suplemento de 100 euros.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was absolutely exceptional, and the location made it easy to access both the beach and town. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches upon arrival. The host provided snacks and a few meal preparation items, which were a nice surprise. Communication with the host was excellent; they were very responsive and helpful both before and throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would gladly stay again.

Amazing Location

The view and proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Very short walk from the train station and easy to do with all our luggage. We loved our stay here and the property managers are very helpful friendly and easy to get a hold of. Highly recommend.

An Amazing Stay at an Amazing Location

The views from this VRBO are breathtaking. The accommodations are excellent and it's a short walk to the train station. Monterosso is a quaint little village on the riviera and it's an easy walk to some of the best restaurants and shops around. There are 5 villages total in the Cinque Terre and it's an easy train ride to each one. Each provides amazing architecture and restaurants and it's right on the Gulf of Genoa. I highly recommend this property to anyone that travels to Northern Italy.

Truly Unique, One of a kind property. Great location

Property was properly represented in the listing. Great and very unique location. We were provided plenty of towels and a nice basket of fruit, pasta, olive oil, pesto sauce and a bottle of wine. Very clean and the a/c worked well. There were a few ants but nothing to complain about based on how the unit is built into a seaside cliff. Getting the vehicle close to unload is very tight but nothing unexpected. Public parking near the beach for overnight was easy. A great stay!

Awesome Experience

I can’t think of a more interesting place to stay in Cinque Terre. It is such a cool experience staying at Il Gigante! The view is unsurpassed…you can literally see all 5 Cinque Terre towns while sitting on the sofa in the living room. The place was spotless when we arrived and there was local produce and specialty foods left for us. They even had a chilled bottle of Prosecco for us. One word of caution…the beautiful stone floors inside are quite slippery if you’re just wearing socks, so maybe wear shoes or slippers with a grip.

A Unique Place and Experience

We were so pleased when we entered this amazing property. It was every bit as nice and interesting as the pictures had us hoping for. The location is terrific. With the huge windows overlooking the public beach below opened to hear the waves and let the breeze in, we felt we couldn't possibly find any better place the be. So we took advantage of the thoughtful gifts of food and wine set out for us and prepared our own dinner in, and breakfast the next morning. The kitchen was well supplied and there are two markets within a 5 minute walk to get whatever else you need. We loved our stay here. Our only note of caution is that it would be a tough place to stay for anyone with mobility issues or young kids due to the narrow stairs and smooth floors.

We loved our stay at La Casa del Gigante! Nicely furnished, comfortable, wonderful kitchen, gorgeous view of the water!!.....we also enjoyed the nice food basket that was left for us. Only one complaint: The sun is very strong coming into the massive living room windows The glare and the heat were almost unbearable! There are curtain hooks on a curtain rod but there are no curtains??! Curtains are seriously needed. We hope to have a return visit to this lovely apartment.

Luxury on the beach!

This was a truly unique property— extremely comfortable with gorgeous views and just steps to the beach— literally steps! The rocks right off the beach even had some fish which made for some fun impromptu snorkeling. The neighborhood was quiet especially compared to the “old town” of Monterosso where the trains were running through. The space was roomy enough for a family of four with 2 teenagers— and I was so grateful for the extra bathroom. There are a few steps to climb to get to the property and given the loft layout there are also steps inside which were fine for us, but may not be ideal if you are traveling with individuals with mobility issues. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

From the moment we arrived, everything about this VRBO was flawless. The host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, offering clear directions, local recommendations, and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.The property itself was unique, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured—if not better. Every detail had been considered, from cozy linens and a fully stocked kitchen to high-speed Wi-Fi and even a welcome basket with pasta, fresh produce and local treats. Even eggs, juice, wine and butter was provided. The location was perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed—shops, restaurants, and attractions were just minutes away. We especially loved relaxing taking in the gorgeous views from the huge picture window in the living room. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was truly a home away from home, and we’re already looking forward to booking again. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury.

This place is amazing

First, the company that runs this rental is first-rate. We were personally met at the property and had everything explained to us so we knew how to run everything. They provided complimentary extras like Prosecco, eggs, tomatoes, apricots. First rate. The only working washer/dryer we had our entire 2 week Europe trip (we stayed several different places). The view from this property cannot be beat. Air conditioning worked very well. Our 19 and 18 year old boys were happy with the extra bedroom set up, but two older adults might not be. Cinque Terre was probably our favorite leg of our trip, and Montessori is a great base. Be sure to hit the older side of Montessoro too, it’s got a lot of character.
