"This is a very together little house. Really couldn''t improve on anything significant. Very simple, everything where it should be, and thank you very much, the walls are not covered with cute inspirational sayings! Dock works fine--we are geezers and didn't use the canoe, but if it had been warmer we would have. This is a great place to just kick back!"

"Cabin right on the page was perfect. Lake is gorgeous. View is 180. Beautiful deck and furniture. Cabin is updated and lovely. Kitchen is nicely sized and very well furnished. Bathroom is also nicely sized and very nice. Living room is very comfortable, well sized, lots of windows, good tv... all good. Bedroom is small but very workable, bed is very comfortable. Host was very nice. "

"Our stay at the Gardner Lake home was perfection! It is a cozy, well loved home with epic views of the sunrise over the lake. The location could not be better and the kitchen had absolutely everything you need. I messaged the owner asking if there was a kayak or anything that guests could use and there wasn’t. But when we arrived we were surprised to find he had brought a kayak over for us! We thoroughly enjoyed a morning out on the water and so appreciated the thoughtfulness. Thank you so much...

"We had an awesome stay at Little Bay Retreat! The place is immaculately clean and so comfortable as a home base for exploring this area of DownEast Maine. The views from the deck are constantly changing with the tide, so much to just sit and enjoy. Visited Lubec having lunch at the old sardine factory overlooking the water, went to West Quoddy State Park and walked the trails and visited the lighthouse, went to Jasper Beach and discovered a wonderful nearby restaurant south of Machias called...

"Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

"What a truly awesome experience! From the moment we booked our stay and throughout our vacation, communication was excellent and Charlie & Sandy were gracious, generous, and extremely hospitable hosts, making sure our needs were met, we were comfortable, and our expectations were exceeded! Jonesport is the perfect town for a quiet getaway with plenty of opportunities for fun and adventure. This was our second time staying here and we are already making plans to return!!"

"Beautiful house right on the beach in quiet neighborhood. Spacious rooms with lots of windows with spectacular views. Great kitchen, fully stocked with everything we needed, including lobster pots. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were awesome and very good at answering all questions! We will definitely stay here again when we can get the family all together again! "

"we had a great experience and the owners are kind and helpful. They prepared us for that place within an hour. It wasn't easy to reach that place (due to the gravel road). Other than that, the place is nice."

"We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning."

"The house was perfect. The location was perfect. Overall the weather was pretty good for mid October. Got lobster on two different occasions from a local fisherman and it was fantastic. The only complaint we had was the local property manager was not very responsive. Other than that this property is a 10 out of 10. "
