"The whole experience was perfect. Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. "

"Great for place to sleep and workout great for us, but there isn’t anything walkable if you are hoping to go out. A plus was that there was EV charging at the school next door. "

"The room was clean and the bathroom spacious - I booked 2 queen bed , but they felt smaller than queens, maybe doubles? . The breakfast lounge in the morning was great , wide range of foods which is all included. The one and only downside is that the bathrooms near the breakfast lounge did not have a change table for little ones - when ask they advised I could just change my child in a booth ? Glad I still had my keycard , so went back up to change him and then returned the keycard for checkout....

"Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to."

"This a sadly neglected gorgeous old building. It felt like staying at someone's grandma's house. Dust, cobwebs, generally dirty, previous guest's food crumbs on the kitchen floor, dispensers in the shower completely empty, no milk and cream in the fridge as advertised. Passive aggressive garish signage about the "rules" all over the room and property. Way overpriced. Only redeeming quality is location. "

"Charming little hotel, steps from dock where Thousand Islands cruise ship departs from and just a few blocks from best stretch of downtown. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was upscale, delicious and plentiful. Convenient and lively pub downstairs (no noise heard from room though). Only improvement offered would be some electrical outlets/USB ports more accessible for charging devices (one of those table lamps with built in ports would do the trick). Strongly recommend"
