"This is a very unique hotel experience in the desert, which I absolutely loved. The manager, Alice, was also the cook and waitress. She was so friendly, and we had great conversations during my stay. The room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. I liked the porch, where I could sit and look at the mountains and the desert. I kind of wish I stayed in a teepee."

"Very clean, neat perfect-sized lodging. Very well stocked and all amenities work: A/C, heat, fridge, bathroom, sinks, cabinets, TV, WiFi, etc. Cell signal is good here. In the center of the famous Lone Pine town. Very-well priced. Very comfortable place/lodging. Awesome getaway location! "

"This property was beyond our expectations. It is located in the otherworldly Alabama Hills nestled between the eastern Sierra Nevadas and the Inyo mountains. There are amazing opportunities for hiking including the stunning Mt. Whitney trail. We even took a day trip to Death Valley. The property abuts a cattle ranch and has views of the mountains from every direction. Lydia could not have been a more attentive host and the amenities were expertly curated. "It was a fabulous place. It’s much bigger than it looks like in the pictures. It was very clean & had all the essentials & more. Jill was an excellent host & was always a phone call away. It has a beautiful kitchen that opens up to a huge living room. And out the back door opens up to a huge deck with the occasional rabbit hopping by. The air conditioning worked great. The place was just perfect & would love to stay there again. "

"A quite cozy place. All my friends enjoyed their stay there. Here is one suggestion for improvement: We did not get clear instructions for how to check in. After downloading the app, I was still not able to log in to see my reservation. Luckily, we got in without a doorcode because the door was unlocked. Then we called the manager to get the doorcode. It will also be great to provide instructions for how to use the doorcode. One more thing: the location is a bit difficult to find."
