"Gardenstown is a sweet little village on the coast about one hour north of Aberdeen. The house is located perfectly with an amazing view to the ocean directly out of the kitchen window. It is newly renovated. Everything is in perfect working order. Car can be parked in front of the house. Andreas, our landlord, is a super friendly and relaxed person and gave us both, helpful hints for visits in the area as well as e.g. a gas grill to prepare out freshly self-caught North Sea fish. "Gardenstown ist wirklich wunderschön und das Haus ist ganz nah am Meer, gemütlich, sauber und sinnvoll aufgeteilt.Es ist ziemlich dunkel im Haus und der Meerblick ist auch nur eingeschränkt zu geniessen, weil das Haus in 2. Reihe steht. Von der auf den Fotos zu sehenden Terrasse sieht man das Meer so gut wie nicht. Es war aber wirklich schön, dort Urlaub zu machen."

"A fantastic find. The cottage had everything you could wish for including a huge secure walled garden for our Setter lad. The cottage is one of two so normally we would have shared the garden but this time we had it to ourselves, something to consider if your pet prefers their own space. Two cafes very close by, a short walk to the village harbour and places to eat. Would thoroughly recommend and we will certainly return. "

"We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!"

"We had such a lovely welcome from Ramsay at Garden Cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a larged walled garden looking over to the Aberdeenshire hills. Inside, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. The living area is spacious and has full length windows and a window seat looking onto the garden. There are plenty of places of interest to visit close by and a bit further afield. We would love to come back to stay here and explore more."
