"Beautiful and quiet room, well appointed. The front desk people, a man on check in and a lady on check out, were not very friendly or helpful. Restaurant was delightful. The hotel is small, behind the restaurant/pub with the same entrance. It was much further to the open entrance to Kew than I had expected."

"We had a lovely stay. Everyone was so nice from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. It is perfectly located in Richmond to enjoy spending time with my family there and being able to use the buses and/or the tube or train. I will be back and this will be my hotel whenever I come back to visit."

"Lovely looking hotel, in a great spot! Room was lovely and spacious and clean with nice comfy bed.
What let down the stay was some of the staff and how they seemed completely uninterested in helping guest! Ushered off the terrace as they said all tables were booked for dinner, this was at a time where not one single table was occupied. We only wanted drinks, were told to sit in the bar which was fine however staff continued to walk past us and and another couple who too were sent to the bar and...

"This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of Richmond. Several nice pubs around. Good car parking and walk into town is 10m (maybe 15 to the station). Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. View from the grounds is amazing (it’s a little way up Richmond Hill).
To consider for your trip - no A/C, which was common in older UK hotels but would make smaller rooms uncomfortable over 25/30C. I was solo and got the single room, these open onto the courtyard, which gets very noisy when the...

"It's a nice place , very clean , the only downfall it's too far from the city , but in the train it's could take you about 40 min to be on the city."
