"Hosts were excellent. Contact immediate and very informative of the property and things to do in the area. The house is ‘very cute’ and Neal and Marie really care that their guests have a great stay. So many added extras that made us feel welcome. Fireplace was a wonderful place to fall asleep in front of and good quality linen and ammenities abound. A truly luxurious stay. Thanks so much, Neal and Marie."

"Lovely cottage ambiance, great set up out the back for dogs and plenty of room inside for them as well. Jean, the host, was very thoughtful and kind when I had a glitch with the payment system and gave me time to return home and use a different card. Her responses to all queries was rapid. House perfectly situated for walks around town, bike rides on rail trail and hikes up mountains."

"Lovely heritage cottage and equally lovely host. Quiet and relaxing place to stay for our long weekend away. The town is long past its boom days but retains a lot of its charm regardless as well as its recognition of its gold mining history and its focus on being a "Book Town", including a Booktown festival in March. The pub does a very enjoyable meal and a good coffee at one of the cafes and quality pie at the bakery is readily available. Easy drive to bigger centres and other small towns. "

"The Sunday School is an amazing property full of old-time charm and atmosphere. There was plenty of spaces for all of us to spend time together or find some solitude. The fire place and pool table were extra perks and the kitchen is really well equipped. The porch and garden were perfect for some lazing around for us and our dog. All communication with the hosts was seamless and the check in was super easy. Would thoroughly recommend the property for a bit of a ‘luxury treat’ stay."

"Kerry our host was so friendly and welcoming and all the extra little touches (like fresh eggs from her hens, bottle of wine, chocolates and 2 coffee machines!) made our stay so special. We had everything that we needed (and more)The house was stunning- beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and was in a lovely country setting.. "Bronwyn was so friendly and attentive. The house was clean and comfortable , equipped with everything we could possibly want or need. The garden and deck were a highlight with the native bird life and the chance for star gazing at night!
