"Great cabin with good amenities. We did see a couple of spiders but we didn't mind. The hot tub was great but one issue with the cabin is alot of the lights don't work, especially the outdoor/patio ones, which would have been useful when going to/using the hot tub. Same with the TVs/electronics, many of them had dead or missing batteries in the remotes so we couldn't use them"

"Overall, this property was everything that we could've asked for and more. Things we liked: Amazing views off of 3 separate decks. Great kitchen that was fully stocked - bring food and you should have all the tools to make it. Movie Theater seating and ease of using said movie theater (we just brought a laptop). "Very nice home for large groups or families. Having three legit master bedrooms was a very nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and kitchen gadgets. Hot tub and bbq worked great. Two minor critiques: the downstairs to upstairs is a loft-type design so noise carries, and pool access was in the listing but not actually available for short term guests according to the pool staff. "It’s hard to find a comfy house that allows dogs, so we are glad we found this one! The house is HUGE. 3 floors so if you don’t do stairs well maybe re think this house. "Aaron was very responsive and made the trip very easy from start to finish, He sent detailed instructions for check in, ahead of time, which made getting into the property a breeze. Upon entering the house, we were greeted by sweeping views and a squeaky clean house. The floor plan is well laid out and the 5 beds/ 4 baths is perfect for large groups or families. Really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back! "

"This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more."

"We had an enjoyable stay with my son and his family. The house was clean and comfortable and communication with Karen was excellent. Check in and checkout was easy. Our grandkids really enjoyed the large open space in the back of the house. Location was very good. For those with small children, there is no highchair or Pakn’play. Also, as guests of the owners, we were surprised by the very high price of the Tahoe Donner amenities."

"The house was a perfect way to show East coast relatives California. The space easily accommodated 7 adults (3 couples 1 and a 1-year old. The kitchen was spectacular - made it easy to prepare meals. Hosts graciously allowed us to use paddle boards and kayaks. We had a terrific time."
