"Excellent hotel, fantastic location"

"This was a very lovely boutique hotel and in probably the most charming part of Paris. The location was excellent near great restaurants, shopping and transportation options in Le Marais. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The property could use a little updating in the common areas such as the carpeting, but the room and bathroom were modern and clean. The room was definitely a little smaller than expected, but it was fine for one person. The lack of ac was not a problem, though I...

"Bathroom is tiny, room is tiny, has an odor. Area looked sketchy. Wasn’t great."

"We had a room with a large bed and two large windows that opened onto what they call a balcony. There was a double seat and a desk and the bathroom was large and spotless. Our room faced inward. The room was much larger than many of the other hotel rooms we’ve stayed at in Paris. In addition, the location was outstanding and everything we needed including some great sites were within walking distance (which is the way to experience Paris)."

"Everything was clean Only problem is that the rooms and bathroom are very small"

"Excellent location for my visit to Paris. Room was cozy and comfortable. Staff were very helpful during my stay. Very happy with my stay here!"

"Beautiful building in great location for visiting the Louvre. Less than 10 minute walk! Staff was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We used the car service which was great because we would've gotten completely lost otherwise. Lots of little cafes and shops right near the hotel and the room was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!"

"Great location!"

"Very nice cute hotel"

"Staff was exceptional! We stayed at Hotel Emile during both extreme weather and protests. The staff was very informative and accommodating. We were very appreciative."

"Super convenient location - we could walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, fun shopping areas and the metro was also very close. Area is busier but our room was quiet and felt safe. Great modern shower with lots of water pressure and hot water. Perfect for our stay."

"Stayed for 1 night on a long layover. Small <10 rooms total, but clean. Rooms were small which is expected. Location great, next to train station, but a bit noisy from a busy street and the immediate area outside the hotel has some good areas and some below average areas. Breakfast was €17 and not worth the price. Overall, average hotel for the price."

"Overall, we had a good seven-day stay at Hôtel Bastille Speria. The staff helped coordinate our arrival, and we appreciated the 24-hour front desk. A protest outside the hotel disrupted one day of our visit, so we spent the day elsewhere and returned around 10:30 p.m., once things had calmed down. The room was small, as expected in Paris, but showed some wear, including visible stains on the carpet and the room’s only chair. Housekeeping could have been more thorough: the bathroom was refreshed...
