"We LOVED this place! It was the perfect little getaway -- and the water view was amazing! The place was very clean and our host was in excellent communication with us. It was cozy, but we really appreciated being able to wake up every morning and drink coffee on the dock next to the water. The neighbors (both animals and humans) were also very welcoming and friendly.Highly recommend! "

"If you want to be in a perfect location to town and beautiful water views John Bruff is your destination. Host is very quick to respond to all requests and this home is a fun step back in time . Property is appointed with circa 1800 furnishings. Each bedroom has toilet and sink . Full bath on main level. You will need to be able to climb stairs to access bedrooms. A great stay. "

"Wow! What an incredible property and house. We were a group of families with small kids, and it was heaven for them playing in the pool, on the dock, on the playground, and in the expansive yard. Lots of beautiful sunsets on the patio for the grown-ups too. We never had to leave. Can't recommend highly enough. "

"The home was spacious and clean. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely...

"What a beautiful property! The minute you walk in the front door, you are treated to a gorgeous view of the water. My adult family thoroughly enjoyed the house, the pool, the yard, dock, kayaks, bikes, hammocks, fire pit, sunset view, and more! This house is ideally situated on the water, and not far from Easton, which has some great restaurants and is very charming. Thank you to the hosts for being so responsive and for sharing their lovely home with us. We hope to return soon!"

"This is a great property and house to get away for a quiet weekend. The owner communicates well and timely, and the house is clean. Plenty of space for our 6 adults. "What a spectacular home!! We all loved our stay and took advantage of the beautiful heated pool, dock, fire pit and playground. In the evening the pool table, ping pong and foosball were enjoyed by all. Stunning views, beautiful furnishings and comfortable bedding. Hopefully we will have occasion to visit again soon.
