"Nice renovated home. The suite was very clean. It is across the street from their Parliament house. Lots of interesting restaurants nearby and a small supermarket. The street cars run closely. I would whole heartedly recommend this suite."

"This is a well appointed resort hotel. Service was excellent. We swam in both the indoor and outdoor pools. The river/ocean view was superb. We were west of Lisbon, but short Uber ride in. Also close to Sintra, a smaller town with beautiful historic sites, restaurants and gardens, which we actually preferred to Lisbon, but we still enjoyed a day tour there. We’d stay at the property again, as it exceeded our expectations."

"Staff was very accommodating. Because these are apartments, there is no 24 hour desk but there is always, at least, one person available during business hours. Our unit had a washer/dryer combo which came in handy for a long stay. The room had all the comforts of home and did a great job of incorporating those comforts in limited space. Great location, in the center of everything."

"Our apartment was absolutely amazing and as stunning as the pictures. Perfect with our three year old who called it our 'home-tel,' Our flights were delayed on the way out, I was able to call through to reception who provided us with access to the property after reception hours with really clear instructions. We just loved it so much, will definitely be back."

"Great location in old town which is shabby-chic area. Yes, there are a lot of outdoor stairs to the suites but it’s a great way to keep up with your exercise! Lisbon itself is full of hills so be aware of this before going :) The staff at Castello are super nice & helpful. We loved our suite - very clean, bed was comfortable, so nice to be able to eat in when you want in the comfort of your pjs ;) Breakfast was included and was plentiful. We felt safe in the neighborhood and things you may see...

"I was looking for a conveniently located room with a fridge available at a reasonable price. Success. As a seasoned traveller, here is the 411: Pros: The location is amazing for accessing major sites as well as transportation to sites not in the immediate vacinity. As these are "apartments" and not hotel rooms, the kitchen facilities were excellent and appreciated on a 6-night stay. The place is very clean and the staff are nice and helpful - although at my age it's weird to communicate...
