"Perfect location for arriving by train and exploring york. Staff were all incredibly helpful, polite snd professional. The option of being able to leave your bags with the hotel before and after check was great. Room was ok, bed was adequate for our night stay. the hotel does recognise that not all rooms are perfect as it is a older building. "

"Fantastic location right next to York Minster. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The weather was warm/hot - the hotel provided not one, but two tower fans for comfort. Only had breakfast which was very good. Staff were very professional and friendly. Highly recommended."
