"There are two Hotel Riu with nearly same name within a couple blocks of each other. We went to the wrong one first which was a pain. The rooms were fine but wierd that the two beds were pushed right up against each other."

"Stayed three days, during July 4 extreme heat. Management has the air conditioner scheduled to turn off at set intervals such that the room was about 80 degrees for the first two days. After repeated complaints the system ran the last day to achieve desired reasonable temperature. The management saved a dollar or two on energy at the expense of my comfort. Reason enough to not recommend. If you do stay there read the operation certificate in the only elevator which states it is only for...
