"Wi-Fi was not working at all. Bed was too soft on the side. Pillows were not comfortable. Room is not soundproof. I can clearly hear other people coughing in the next room. Other than these, it was a pretty good hotel. Location is perfect. Room is clean and spacious."

The location is perfectly central, right next to the Chinatown gate and just between Union Square and the financial district. The immediate neighborhood has walkable conveniences ranging from neighborhood markets to coffee shops and lovely small restaurants - particularly several French cafes and bistros. All is always spotlessly clean, safe, and quiet, and prices are a good value for SF. I recommend...

"The remodeled hotel is beautiful and the location is very good, right on Union Square. The Post restaurant has a nice happy hour and we had a delicious breakfast there. The room was well appointed and the bedding comfortable. My only complaint was the room cleaning. They made the beds and cleaned the bathroom as expected but failed to clean the coffee area and replace the complimentary coffee pods and water. When I alerted the front desk they did take care of it promptly."

Our room keys stopped working everyday we were there which is a pain to have to remember to check it before you leave the room to see if it’s working. Especially since you can’t use the elevator without it. There was only one elevator working which means it took forever, and it only fits maybe 6 people if squeezed tightly. At one point I waited 10 minutes for the elevator which was being used by the staff. There is...

"Amazing sky view of the city from my room. The hotel was close to Union Square key for shopping, conference attendance and access to tours. Staff were exceptional and responsive to every need. I do miss the absence of a complimentary breakfast though. The gym was sufficient, small but extensive equipment. 10/10 experience!"
