"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "The location was perfect. Its one the less busy side of the river but a very easy walkto the highlights of Florence. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. The room we had was a good not a great.Smallish compared to others we've had on this trip and the shower was small. Lovely view of the river outside of our window."

"What a beautiful hotel!! Spacious room, updated nice bathroom, and gorgeous views and property. Very friendly staff, too. Breakfast is awesome and they had plenty GF options too. They also have a shuttle to take you up and down the hill to the main part of town, which was very helpful and meant we didn’t have to pay for taxis hardly at all. Overall an amazing place! "

"Everything was great and the hotel was very nice. It’s just the little details that kept me from giving 5 stars. It sounded like construction or maintenance all hours late at night. And the electronics were outdated so we could not connect to the TV for Netflix. but please know! Everything else was wonderful and the breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. The staff were amazing and I would recommend this place to everyone"
