"We stayed for one night and had a very relaxing time. Great location on the Marazion seafront with a direct view out to St Michael's Mount. Good size well maintained rooms. Excellent dinner and breakfast served in the light airy sea view restaurant."

The room and hotel were very nice and well kept, but the restaurant area was incredibly cold, the windows in the conservatory area leaked air around the edges and the air con wasn’t running any heating when we were in there eating so hurried through and returned to room. "The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...

"No sink to wash your hands in the shared toilet. Shower tray was dirty. The breakfast wasn’t cooked properly leaving un edible. The manager to great delight in showing off her parrot as she had taught it to say, profanities."

"Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. "

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"The part of the hotel that we given was the old part which to be honest requires a complete refurbishment with a lift as we thought there was a lift but not on our side especially as we were on the 2nd floor and pensioners We were not told what time breakfast was or where to go for it also the shower in our room was intermittent so all in all not a great experience"
