Friendly, ggod food and great staff - a bit tired

Wir waren hier für 2 Nächte. Tolles Hotel in altem Gemäuer mit Golfplatz und Pool mit Sauna. Schöner Garten und Weg zu Strand. Die Zimmer (wir hatten eine Signature Suite) sind sehr schön eingerichtet, haben allerdings keine Klimaanlage. Das Essen am Morgen sowohl am Abend war mäßig - eher 3 von 5 Sternen. Sonst absolut zu viel empfehlen.

The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!
