"For me, this was an inexpensive option to stay in manhattan. The building is an interesting piece of New York history (read the Wikipedia). If you know what to expect, a small room with a small bed, and a common bathroom. I suggest flip flops. "

"I stayed there for two nights with my husband and it was great. Nice and quiet place with friendly staff close to everything. The room is small but clean and comfortable. The rooftop is perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this place. "

"Good location and pretty quiet, but close to attractions. Bed was comfortable, check in was easy and room was clean. The private balcony was very tiny. Only two people could stand on it very close to each other. Check out was easy."

"Charming hotel . Sheets and pillows top notch… the bed a bit firm for me. Well appointed, bathroom dated but clean. Toilet extremely low to the ground.. wow.. but everything worked just fine. Quiet with great ac. Friendly staff!! Thank you WS hotel!"

"Excelente! Atendimento ótimo, muito cordial, de todos, em especial da Ashley. Quarto moderno, muito limpo, cama confortável. Localização perfeita,dá pra fazer tudo a pé ( perto da Times Square, Vessel, metrô, The Shops…).cumpre o que promete! Só não direi um hotel perfeito por 2 pontos: água do chuveiro não esquenta muito e atendimento do restaurante Altair deixa a desejar ( deixei de consumir lá por esse motivo) "

"When I booked this hotel I expected just another hotel but it's not this hotel is amazing. Rooms are great, clean, modern and well laid out. Highly recommend if you're planning a trip to NYC and a definitely if you plan on staying in the lower East side area."
