"Little Gen Hotel is truly a little gem. The property is quiet, aesthetic, and has a private & romantic vibe. It is a little paradise amidst the busy streets that surround it. "The area outside isn’t glamorous, but when you inside these enormous wooden doors, it’s incredibly impressive how they used fauna to create a truly unique atmosphere. What I REALLY liked was walking a block towards the water and there was an incredibly charming street of endless restaurants and cafe’s which contrasts the main road through town and the hoity toity-ness of the high end hotel scene. It felt super comfortable and I am VERY glad I stayed at this hotel."

"We stayed a few nights in room 5A on the 4th floor with a plunge pool on the balcony overlooking the jungle - the room we got is a two story with the bedroom and living room on separate floor. This property is amazing and very clean. There’s a 24 hour security at the entrance gate so felt very safe. There’s some construction noise near by but didn’t mind it at all. This place is a gem! Would stay here again. "

"The staff was beyond helpful. I really liked the cozy little room, the bed was comfortable, everything worked within the room, there was hot water… I really have nothing to complain about. It is close to everything but very quiet for the area. I would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay there. Both of the ladies that worked the front desk were wonderful in helping us out with several things, such as recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, and most importantly for us, upon checking out, ordered us a taxi to our next destination and negotiated a set price for us to pay. If you’ve done any research regarding Tulum taxis, then you’ve heard the horror stories. We would definitely consider a return to this hotel for another visit in the future. "

" Note I didnt get an upgrade because I had the top grade penthouse accomodation. The entire property is well kept and spotless. The staff work hard and it shows. Raquel the TAJ Experience Curator was superbe and kept in touch everyday to inquire if anything was needed or arrange and make happen an excursion if I wanted one.
