"Located close to the beautiful Southern coastline, this superb small hotel is a perfect central location for a trip. Many scenic paths are at a walkable distance (5 km to 10 km of moderate difficulty will allow you to see many beautiful sights.) Roy and Jayne are the consummate hosts. They help coordinate your arrival in advance, since the location is a bit remote. They cook an excellent breakfast, and take a keen interest in your plans for your stay. "Easy hotel, clean and comfortable."

"I liked the room and after being out in the cold it was nice to get into a warm room. I was not too happy about the breakfast bacon I felt it had been over cooked and the choice of cut contained more fat than meat. Staff were great no complaints about them. I didnt have a beach view I overlooked the church and town in the distance."

"The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!"

"Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Even though it is on a main road, the double glazing kept out all noise making it very quiet at night. Breakfast menu is excellent, dinner menu likewise and the bar has an excellent choice of local ales and cider. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this inn "
